Bottles
Bottles is an experimental mobile platformer that draws inspiration from a 'ship in a bottle.' Using a combination of gesture and gyroscope controls, players rotate the world around themselves as they navigate small world slices full of life and delightful discoveries.
From April 2019 to present, I've been the Art and Design lead on the Bottles MFA Thesis/AGP with USC Games. Our team of 16+ released a single level gameplay demo on iOS (coming soon to android) on May 11th, 2020. We continue to work on the project in our spare time, hoping to release more levels.
Over the course of Bottles' development, I've handled project roadmaps, scoping, and assignment delegation, maintained design direction, feedback and iteration, as well as worked with talented artists from ArtCenter's game art direction program to develop and implement a consistent art style. I was responsible for the modeling, collision design, texturing and animation of our demo level.
